    On July 1, 2026, several significant changes to federal financial aid included in last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, also referred to as the OBBBA or Working Families Tax Cuts Act, go into effect that affect current and prospective students at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. George Mason University’s Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) has developed a centralized webpage for students, faculty, and staff to review these changes.
