Micron commits $1M to increase diversity in VA STEM fields

Mason’s ADVANCE program and the university’s relationship with Micron Industries are highlighted in this InsideNOVA story about how such partnerships can help a company expand its workforce. “(Businesses) support a number of our students’ senior design projects,” said Ken Ball, dean of Mason’s Volgenau School of Engineering. “Our students, when they graduate, have a lot of real working experience.”
